For example,our Governor in Massachusetts is a RINO who's basically stopped even pretending to be a Republican.He also never misses an opportunity to make his hatred for Trump known.In March he issued a number of directives,as did other Governors.Among them were that gun shops and gun ranges were "non-essential" and,therefore,were to be shut. That order was later overturned by a Federal judge as being a violation of 2nd Amendment rights.
Another order he issued was that ordinary hospitals were to be basically shut down for anything but urgent cases.However,in the same order he specifically stated that Planned Parenthood could stay open.As a result I couldn't see my Cardiologist or Oncologist but some girl could get an abortion.
Although it might not be true up north down here this virus is *all* about 11/3...and has been pretty much from the start.
The good news is it has not been as politicized here. The bad news is there are consequences. There was a story about someone’s son dying of a heart issue because a scan was delayed 3 months ago to give priority to COVID issues. More and more businesses are demanding the use of masks. Including Walmart. People are freaking out themselves and not any less than the government over rising cases, yet deaths are not rising. As I said before more people died in one night in a small town of 30,000 from a bad batch fentanyl (7)than in an entire region of 600,000 people from COVID. (6). In my office people refuse to come in unless we all wear masks. Damn if I am going to wear a mask for 8 hours.
