President Trump on Wednesday announced an updated list of potential nominees to the Supreme Court that included three Republican U.S. senators and his former solicitor general.
Trump announced 20 additional potential nominees that would be added to a list of candidates for the Supreme Court, including Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and Noel Francisco, who departed as solicitor general in June.
The move represents a bid to shore up his support among conservatives two months from the 2020 presidential election. In remarks at the White House, Trump warned that religious liberty, freedom of speech and the right to bear arms are all at risk if Democrats win the election, asserting that they would appoint “radical” justices to the high court.
“Over the next four years, America’s president will choose hundreds of federal judges and in all likelihood, one, two, three and even four Supreme Court justices,” Trump said in remarks from the Diplomatic Reception Room at the White House.
“The outcome of these decisions will determine whether we hold fast to our nation’s founding principles or whether they are lost forever,” Trump continued.

Ted Cruz is lucky nobody looks into whether his mother renounced her U.S. citizenship in order to get Canadian freebies.
Ted was BORN in Canada! CANADA! LET THAT SINK IN........
His father was NOT a U.S. citizen. His mother, from whom is the only way that Ted is even a U.S. citizen, may have renounced her U.S. citizenship in order to get Canadian freebies and or vote in Canada.
In ANY CASE, Ted Cruz is NOT eligible to the office of President which he ran for while KNOWING he was not eligible.

I have always been a little confused on this. Is he a citizen? Can his offspring be President?
I just looked it up. He was born in Canada so no, he should not have run for the Presidency.

The two of them remind me of Jefferson and Adams.
Both men wanted to be President. However, Adams played a little dirty and accused Jefferson of being a Deist and sympathetic to "musselmen" (muslims). It stuck. Even now the left plasters that all over Jefferson.
The truth is that Jefferson read the Qu'ran to understand his enemy. He wanted to smash the Barbary Pirates. Adams won and paid them tribute because he said America couldn't afford a war after the Revolution.
You can look up anything that you like but his Mother was born in Maryland and working in Canada when he was born.

Trump was responding to ads Cruz ran in Utah smearing Melania, basically calling her a porn model.
