Interesting that that myth is still around.....and people still believe it.
Myth? He wasn’t born here to two US citizens was he?
not a myth. Born in Canada. Father was a Cuban citizen at time of Ted’s birth. Twice ineligible.
I love Cruz but he wasn’t eligible for the Presidency. As a US Senator he’s fine in my book and while I’d like to see him stay on in the Senate he is also very eligible for USSCt if PDJT chooses to nominate him.
He officially was a Canadian by birth and trashed his Canadian citizenship while planning the run for president.
The Never Cruzer crowd still hangs around.
I think they are ever dumber than the Never Trumpers, if that is possible.
MYTH?
He’s a Cubanadian!
Ted Cruz is lucky nobody looks into whether his mother renounced her U.S. citizenship in order to get Canadian freebies.
Ted was BORN in Canada! CANADA! LET THAT SINK IN........
His father was NOT a U.S. citizen. His mother, from whom is the only way that Ted is even a U.S. citizen, may have renounced her U.S. citizenship in order to get Canadian freebies and or vote in Canada.
In ANY CASE, Ted Cruz is NOT eligible to the office of President which he ran for while KNOWING he was not eligible.
NOT SCOTUS material.
I won’t say what kind of “material” I think he is made of.
I just looked it up. He was born in Canada so no, he should not have run for the Presidency.
