The word is that POTUS agreed to the interview with Woodward because his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, pressed him to do it.

I’ve said all along that I’m sure Kushner is a nice guy, and that he may have some place in the administration working on issues related to Israel, but it was not a good idea to bring him into the inner circle of daily advisors. Kushner is a liberal, and his counsel is not that helpful.

I am bothered by the presence of these family members. Kushner has done some very good work in the Middle East but he needs to keep out of domestic matters as he and Ivanka are too inclined to press issues important to Wall Street and the media liberals.

I can’t imagine someone of Trump’s stature would be taking advice from a thirty-something year old whose father had to pay $2.5 million to get him into Harvard.

Jared Kushner is also the limp-wristed p#ssy who just stood there and watched while an irate passenger abused his wife and kids while they were boarding a flight at JFK during the transition period in 2016.
