The passengers and crew of Flight 93 should have all been posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and/or the Congressional Gold Medal. Their courageous actions are the very definition of heroism. Had they not attempted to take control of that plane at the cost of their lives, it would have been flown into the White House or Capitol.... ...and their heirs should receive all the benefits and privileges accorded to fallen combat veterans.
