Why? Why not just play football?
No but hes already declared the Fentanyl man of the year
But Prince will always be the King Fentanyl Victim of Minneapolis.
This month is my twenty-year anniversary of not watching TV. I have not missed it a bit.
Are they going to pass out free fentanyl to the fans?
No argument from me. I sometimes wonder if Serena Williams is even human, and not an escapee from The Island of Doctor Moreau.
Given who Minnesota elected to the house of representatives you think they care about 9/11?
I have already given up on the NFL. My once favorite team is now doing something that I can never forgive.
You know who comes to mind?
Ernest Tubb.

So far my Browns don’t appear to be doing anything of this sort. I’m so hoping they stick to business.
It is sad watching the NFL and NBA self destruct. But I am cheered by the fact that, at least for me, this will free up more time for FR.
Through all this madness, the wife and I record and watch old Gunsmoke reruns...hadn’t seen any in over 20-years and we are enjoying every episode.
I have season 1 on DVD. I really like the 30-minute episodes. One thing that surprised me about the show was how much of a badass stud Mat Dillon was in the early B&W days. In the later episodes the show seems to be more about the guest stars. But in the old ones, it did not pay to start something in Matt Dillon’s town.
I used to be a Vikes fan back in the days of Bud Grant, Joe Kapp and the Purple People Eaters. So much has changed. I haven’t watched the NFL for awhile now.
I agree...I think the 30-minute episodes are much better written and don’t kind of drag on as the 1-hour shows.
We have horses and ride a lot and have worked on cattle ranches...YEARS ago and we get a kick out of how authentic the show was. Lots of accurate details never seen in contemporary westerns.
We also love the relationship between Matt and Miss Kitty, and the back and forth between Chester and Doc Adams; like, cowboy, “are you a doctor?”
Chester, “If your horse is sick”.
We actually like the series more now than when we watched it when it was originally on TV.
Are they going to take lots of drugs and stagger around hitting people?
We hear how many other sports teams and league owners had so many financial problems, why not the NFL?
This seems too intentional to just be virtue signaling or ignorance. For example, the first owners to bottom out could force the other owners to buy them out via the league.
They sure do seem to keep coming up with new and unusual ways to do it don’t they?
