Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...you and Penny enjoying the fall weather?
Leaves are turning here and temps starting to go down.
Pretty good day for a Monday.
Hope your week is off to a good start Kathy!
Good evening, radu...any rain on the horizen?
We might be getting some in a couple days.
Glad your weekend was good, well except for the crummy air.
Any idea when you’ll be put to work on that fence? :-)
It was a ho-hum weekend here. Next weekend should be fun since the Republican women’s group will have our big tent set up at an annual weekend street festival close by. We always have a blast there. And the temps are supposed to be in the 70s! WOOHOO!
Minimal monkey wrenches, but what’s new. I got a lot of stuff done yesterday.
And now I have several hours work to get back to....
Howdy, luvie.
How are things at JH? Did the smoke clear a little so you could get outside for a bit?
Hey there, Kathy.
No rain in the immediate future but we might get some from Hurricane Sally later in the week.
You probably have a better chance of getting some than we do. LOL
Minimal is better than max. It sounds like what you got done yesterday had you ready to go.
Good luck tonight. Maybe you’ll be able to get to bed at a decent hour.
Very good...set for the future as well.
Oh no...smoke too close. Hope it clears out soon.
Yes that is true.
Hi, radu!
It was a very pretty day here. It was pretty smoky this morning, but by the time we got out for a walk this afternoon, it was clear and warm with a small breeze. They hardly ever have wind over 10 mph. Although they had some kind of a storm last week with what was high winds to them that toppled some trees.
How were things there? Any rain in your back yard?
Hey there, luvie.
Nice that the smoke cleared out in time for y’all to go for a walk this afternoon. Not exactly a fun activity when you’re hacking and coughing the whole time.
It was cloudy and slightly breezy here but no rain. It’s not looking very good for rain later in the week from Sally since they’re now showing it tracking farther south. Maybe we’ll get a little something out of it. We need it. We got .06 of an inch two weeks ago and that’s the only rain we’ve had at the farm this month.
Good grief. That rain total is about what we got in both July and August. We still haven’t had enough to break the drought. And like with you, all the hurricanes go the wrong direction. Even the one that hit Texas itself.
It’s pretty pathetic alright. We just can’t seem to get rain here. There was a lot of rain with the cold front that tried to move through yesterday but it stalled. They had 6 to 8 inches in some places in the state. The eastern edge stopped right at our county line. GRRRRRRRRR!
Our luck sux, doesn’t it?
Evening, Kathy! Finally it’s getting cool here.
