I couldn’t begin to count the times that’s happened here. It’s beyond frustrating.
I guess the lack of rain right now is good for a few of the farmers. Some were able to plant their fields a little earlier and are starting to harvest now. The guy who has large fields less than a mile from us is getting his corn in and it’s had our sinuses fired up all day.
Our fields and the field across the road are a long way from ready.

Well, the sun was a little brighter yesterday than the day before. Right now I'm watching Sally to see what she is going to do. Our prayers are up right now for the Central Gulf Coast. Everyone stay safe and weather aware in those areas.

In the one pic that shows the sky, I can see blue sky between the clouds. Not much smoke hazing it up and that had to make for a nicer outing.
I’m keeping up with Sally too. My step-mother lives just west of Ft. Walton so I’m concerned. She’s getting a lot of rain tonight and they’re just getting started.
My cousin who lives in Bermuda was lucky and got through Paulette in good shape. There was an email from him in my inbox when I woke up. Now I’m eyeballing Teddy because that storm is aimed at Bermuda. Praying it turns away in time to miss them.
