If there were undeniiable proof that such an allegation were true, doubt that the information would ever be releasd. If it were the lawsuits alone would effectively destroy the Chinese economy, create a worldwide economic contraction and depression , all of which would lead to a world war.IMHO there is little doubt that the Chinese are responsible for the creation of this horrible virus, but have to believe its release was accidental. Long term even if the Chinese are not held accountable, its hard to define how their economy has benefited from this catastophre.

It is all quite simple. This was bio-weapons research in the Wuhan lab of which is the Peoples Liberation Army. The escape of this virus was not intentional. It was an accident of an active bioreactor biological warfare project. They screwed up due to poor procedures in their labs/
The question is not that “its hard to define how their economy has benefited from this catastrophe”, but “How has this catastrophe seriously harmed the Free World’s economy, how many people did it kill in capacitate, how did it impact US and Allied military postures, and would it work again?”.
Red China has about 1.6 Billion people so what if they sacrifice a couple hundred thousand or even millions of them if it substantially hurts the Free World. They can afford to lost that many people overnight and still keep on trucking towards war.
The virus has not stopped Red China from military aggression in the Himalayas with India, spreading their fishing fleets into other countries’ territorial waters, threatening war against the US and everyone else, taking over Hong Kong, stealing intellectual, economic and military secrets from the US/Allies, and expanding their shipping/naval influence around the world, esp. in Africa and some So. China Seas/Pacific islands.
Look at the virus as either a primary covert weapon of war, or and accidental release of a covert weapon of war. Either way it is “Win, win for the Communists” and the West is too stupid and gullible to understand that this pattern of warfare is in the communists playbooks and has been for possibly over 70 years.
There were a number of SciFi books written, beginning in 1942, that had the theme of a Communist biological warfare attack on the West. I think the name of one in the 50’s was “One Billion to One” or something like that. It laid out the whole Red Chinese scenario for the development of and use of biological/germ warfare against the West.
Two lessons to remember. Never underestimate the degrees of destruction to which the Communists will go to achieve world domination, even if they have to kill half of it to get there.
Secondly, remember that our Western leaders are often too stupid, ignorant, and blind to see what could be out there, just around the corner, that would cripple or destroy us.
It happened with Pearl Harbor/Philippines/Coreggidor/Bataan, the invasion of the Aleutian Island, Russian missiles in Cuba and ready to launch, the Berlin Wall, Tet Offensive, Korean War invasion, and Soviet/Red Chinese spies inside of Congress (Feinstein’s chauffeur,Red Chinese spy; the staffers of Communist Party members/hardcore sympathizers in Congress (Conyers, Crockett, Mitchell, DeLacey, Coffee, Lundgren, Dickstein - NKVD, the Burtons, Charles O. Porter, Bella Abzug - most likely KGB, Ted Weiss, most likely CPUSA, Bob Filner - red diaper baby, John Kerry - you know his record re Vietnam, Nicaragua and the Middle East/Iran; George Brown; Ted Kennedy - who is looking like a willing Soviet cohort in undermining the national security of the US, etc.
