Barr is right. But these measures are not only violations of civil rights, but of natural rights as expressed in the Constitution.

None of the things the governors are doing are constitutional. This includes things such as deciding which businesses people may enter, and how many people they will permit, if, where and how churches should hold services, preventing assemblies that they do not like, restricting freedom of movement, preventing travel between the states, stifling freedom of speech by forcing people to wear what is essentially a gag...well, the list goes on and on.

I just wish Barr would at least attempt to do something about this. And Trump should be more forceful about demanding that the governors get back to abiding by the Constitution. Even the concept that they had a legitimate power to “close” their states in the first place is wrong.
