Since Reagan left office until the election of Trump, every President has been a willing tool of the Deep State, the permanent bureaucracy and their Wall Street. big foundation and academic allies. So were LBJ, Ford and Carter. Kennedy and Nixon had their reservations, and were dealt with, in the former case with extreme prejudice.

Trump is dealing with an environment far more hostile than Reagan faced. Many Democrats of Reagan's time were somewhat centrist on national security and social issues. The military, at least at flag rank, is openly leftist, as are the FBI and Justice Department, Barr's conservative rhetoric notwithstanding. So is the medical establishment, represented in the FDA and CDC. Much of corporate America has gone woke, professional sports being the most visible example.

If Trump wins the election, and the enemies of God and America are destroyed, it will be by God's providence.
