Wisconsin likely won't have results in the presidential race on election night and municipal clerks say that's largely because state lawmakers won't let them get a head start on counting an expected flood of absentee ballots.
Clerks from both parties for years have pushed for a change in state law that would allow them to start counting at least some absentee ballots before Election Day. They see the issue especially pressing now that voters are turning to absentee voting in unprecedented numbers because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Clerks can begin counting absentee ballots starting at 7 a.m. on Nov. 3, when polls open for in-person voting. Polls close at 8 p.m., but Milwaukee and some other cities likely won't be finished counting absentee ballots by then.
We are not anticipating that we will be done and have results right at 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. but Im hopeful that by the time the sun comes up on Nov. 4th we will be finished and have election results," Claire Woodall-Vogg, the executive director of the Milwaukee Election Commission, said during the forum.

This is deliberate. Why even watch?
Massive voter fraud and delayed results.
Yeah. Because they’re going to count them. Really. Carefully. *CHORTLE*
Need extra time so they know how many votes they need to manufacture.
That’s the purpose of this crap. I would think that it’s responsibility of the municipality to have enough counters to do the job in a timely fashion.
More time to cheat and steal.
Yep post election counting in rat precincts when they will know how many ores are needed. Now that Trump is pulling ahead the cheating is on. Pa, Wi and in Mi the rat sos sent invalid ballots to the military and told them to go ahead and use them and would probably be counted.
In MA, they cannot start counting absentee ballots until after the polls close. I guess that is so they can verify that no one showed up to vote in person.
It isnt going to matter for Trump in MA, but its going to screw up every state.
That’s how Walker lost when 30000 ballots were finally “counted”.
Last time here in Wisconsin there were a large number of wards that had more votes than registered voters and unanimous, 100.000% results in favor of the Democrats. So, I have to disagree with the title of the article. If the Democrats who work in these polling places are able to count enough fraudulent absentee ballots before election day, we could have presidential results for Wisconsin while we are still in October!
They need to stop referring to this as counting the ballots before election day. They will be processing the ballots and feeding them into the electronic tabulator. These tabulators don’t give you a result until you are finished at the end of the day on Tuesday. Maine has been processing ballots before election day for years in the larger municipalities. They don’t push the report button until all the ballots have been fed into the machine. That is always well after 8 pm on election day.
There is no election “night”. There are weeks, maybe months.
Welcome to the new Democrat paradigm.
...how Walker lost...

The progs are not happy w/ Phony Tony this morning. He’s not on the ballot this year, but I doubt he’ll get that sort of help next time.
Evidently, after doing their bidding re: lockdowns/mandates, progs are no longer popular, so they’re blaming him.
He’s reportedly hurt (and clueless).
Who didn’t see this coming?
“Massive voter fraud and delayed results.”
That’s a fact.
57,000 ballots “appeared” out of thin air in Milwaukee and Madison and caused Scott Walker to lose the election in 2018.
This is really sick and the article makes it sound like everyone’s always wanted this this is total BS.
Problem is when we had an opportunity to crush them wher they stand we allowed them to get away
No killer instinct on our part. like Mittens.
