I do wonder how much "gender confusion" is due to estradiols found in plastics, soy products, and unfiltered birth control hormones in the public water supply.

Obviously the answer is not to inject children (or adults) with hormones and cut up their genitals. It may be better to address environmental and dietary exposure first and see if in a couple years one doesn't feel 'better'.

Are there any studies of children (or adults) being treated with hormones consistent with their natural gender?

The primary cause is the teaching of gender fluidity in public schools. Even as young as kindergarten.
They are purposely dumbing down and confusing the youth.
