Obviously, you don’t have a good grasp of Leftism. Adopting children of color is the most racist thing a person can do! It robs them of their ethnicity and denies them their rich cultural heritage.
Seriously, there is a huge effort to limit cross-culture adoptions; however, there are very few minorities who adopt outside of relatives. Leftists would rather see children languish in foster care than see them adopted into a conservative family.

What might be even more helpful would be for a law degree to render a person UNQUALIFIED for appointment not only to the High Court but to all courts!

No doubt. Cramming a SCOTUS pick through now would be unprecedented,especially a replacement for the notorious RGB. Both Trump and McConnell would be heroes, along with Graham for ramming it through the Judiciary committee. Lindsey is in a tough reelection bid. Could a SCOTUS confirmation put him over the top with conservative voters?
Personally, as much as I'd love to see it, I just don't see it happening. But we can hope.

I highly doubt it. My son adopted four kids, and the fact that they were black had nothing to do with anything. They couldn’t have kids of their own and really wanted to start a family.
You sign up with agencies and when an opportunity strikes, you meet with the biological mother or couple, and if you feel good about the whole thing - you fall in love with the baby - even before it is born.
I guarantee their race was irrelevant - it just happened the opportunities that presented themselves were African American.
Of course, the issue of their race presents certain challenges - my son had to learn how to cut their hair - important stuff like that!
But no, there is no “virtue signaling”.

I’m just being totally cynical here, but I have absolutely zero confidence in the conservative credentials of anyone nominated for a U.S. Supreme Court seat. History has told us this repeatedly — hasn’t it?
