Maybe they could make a deal—McConnell will delay a vote on confirming the new justice if Stephen Breyer (now the oldest member of the Court) will retire effective immediately. That would give the Court an odd number.
It will be a struggle to get anyone confirmed this year. If Trump were to pick a male to replace Ginsburg confirmation would become even harder, probably impossible.
By “her opponent,” I hope you don’t mean you will vote for the Democrat. If so, you really shouldn’t be throwing around the word “traitor” about other people... I’d encourage you to think twice about actively helping our opponents if you’re on our side. Abstain on principle if you feel that way, but don’t become one of the ones responsible for what the Democrats do after winning.

Well, it’s easy for the Democrats. They all have a common goal of destroying the country. The Republicans have an establishment wing with that same goal who is constantly in opposition to those in the party who are legitimately trying to save the country and put America first.
