Romney is a Mormon, and I think high ranking in his church. Do you think the Mormons in Utah are going to forgive him if he ruins the chances of a conservative Supreme Court? He will be primaried and out on his next reelection bid.

If so then a good compromise would to say OK to her and a few others to do the same.

The American people elected Donald Trump, and there hasn’t been one fair thing said or done that would make anyone believe Collins cares about fairness, or she would protect the Supreme Court and get behind Trump.
