Like the Catholic Church, they don’t care who pays the tithes. The career politicians do things to re-elected, the churches (who are dying in a lot of places) are desperate for butts in pews. Importing illegals or whatever people into the country can be converted and taxed/tithed.
It’s the economic survival of the non-profits.
