It would be appropriate to hold the full Senate vote while the backhoe is pushing dirt back into the hole. And since Ruth was Jewish, that should happen soon.
And right after the vote to replace Ruth, Pierre Delecto, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski should have all committee appointments canceled. After all, it's tough to be a maverick when you have to follow a schedule.
