My favorite is ACB but Legoa will likely be the easier win. She got confirmed to the 11th circuit 80-15.
n 2002, inspired by the Holy Spirit, People of Praise members began moving into some of America's poorest neighborhoods. Since then, we have lived closely with our neighbors and worked together to help meet pressing neighborhood needs. Our efforts include running summer camps for hundreds of children, repairing neighborhood homes, hosting prayer meetings, growing healthy food on an urban farm and establishing a private elementary school, Praise Academy at Lakeside. Longtime local residents have credited these efforts with lowering the crime rate and making the neighborhoods more beautiful and peaceful places to live.

We share our lives together often in small groups and in larger prayer meetings. We read Scripture together. We share meals together. We attend each other's baptisms and weddings and funerals. We support each other financially and materially and spiritually.

Charismatic Christian Commune?
Thanks for your input. Have a great day.
Lagoa’s ties to Bush & Rubio is very, very troubling.
ACB would get confirmed with same number of votes as Lagoa - i.e. no leftists will vote for either.
Not true at her confirmation hearing she stated "I can not image a situation where I would recuse myself" Goto 34:10
Amy Barrett has strong support from Trumps base and Trump promised his base that he was “saving Amy for Ginsberg”. Breaking that promise will cost Trump, plus Amy is by far the most qualified with a long paper trail of being a solid conservative.
Im a little worried about Lagoa simply because she doesnt have enough of a track record to know if shell be a reliable Strict Constructionist. We must avoid another Souter.
Well, except that they don’t appear to be isolationist. They run schools which are mostly non-members.
I agree with all that.
Considering the survival of America is on the line, your statement is indicative of a selfish moron of the highest degree.
Now slither back under your rock....
Looking at Allison Jones Rushing. Her name really drives the Left crazy.
https://www.afj.org/document/allison-jones-rushing-background-report/
Although she is young, Rushings extremely conservative credentials are well established. After graduating from Wake Forest University in 2004 and Duke Law School in 2007, she clerked for D.C. Circuit Judge David Sentelle, then-Tenth Circuit Judge Neil Gorsuch, and Justice Clarence Thomas. Rushing is a member of the Federalist Society. She also worked at the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), which the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has classified as a hate group. ..snip..
In 2013, Rushing participated in a panel at Capitol Hill Baptist Church titled Henry Forum: Enemies of Mankind: Religion and Morality in the Supreme Courts Same-Sex Marriage Jurisprudence. In this discussion, Rushing frequently referenced Justice Antonin Scalias opinion that the holding in United States v. Windsor, 570 U.S. 744 (2013), departed from traditional concepts of marriage and morality.

” I read articles and did a web search when I became concerned.”
And what were these articles? You have links?
If you’re going to make accusations that the group she belongs to is a dangerous sect that disqualifies her let’s see your sources.
boffed
1. To have intercourse with a person as if by means of a boff.
1. Kieran boffed Sarah all night long.
This is the definition I recall when I was in high school. Never heard it called "boofed".
I posted two of the articles, just scroll down.
PS, not only were you rude, your inaccurately portray my comments.
I am not comfortable with a group where people need to confide their deeds and financial details to a more senior member of the group at short intervals for advice & counsel and where the husband rules the house. Too many opportunities for abuse or well meaning but damaging power trips by the vetting parties.
It looks as though this sect has a sincere interest in helping people, (they do charity work & run schools) but I am uncomfortable with a Supreme Court justice in the habit of getting her life vetted by others regularly. Her role as a SC justice will require her to be strong in her own convictions. I worry that she is too used to submitting to authority as Robert Barnes has suggested in his review of her court judgements & writings.
Repost for your convenience
These two articles are a sort of counterpoint, one argues that Barrett has said she would not recuse herself, the other suggests a more open ended position on recusal. The second article discusses Barretts legal decisions & opinions and ends with some insight into her family responsibilities.

The term “boff” has been around for a while now. Kavanaugh and his friends used the word “boof” to describe passing gas...farting.

More to digest about the charismatic sect.
While he refused to comment on Barrett in 2018, who at the time was in the running to be picked as Trump’s nominee before Brett Kavanaugh was ultimately chosen, Lent said that the group stays out of politics (although he said it opposes abortion) and does not attempt to influence its members’ professional lives.
Nevertheless, concerns have been raised that Barrett’s ties to the group as would influence her decisions on the Supreme Court.
“These groups can become so absorbing that it’s difficult for a person to retain individual judgment,” Sarah Barringer Gordon, a professor of constitutional law and history at the University of Pennsylvania, previously told The Times.
This harkens back to the argument John Kennedy would be controlled by the Pope.
