Seattle’s City Council voted 7-2 Tuesday evening to override Mayor Jenny Durkan's veto of a bill that would cut police funding by around $3 million.
"We cannot look away from this and we can no longer accept the status quo if we truly believe that Black lives matter," Council President Lorena Gonzalez said, according to MyNorthwest.com.
The bill would also remove as many as 100 officers from various police units and limit staff pay to $150,000, The Seattle Times reported.

They were already well on their way before this vote happened. Look up “Seattle is Dying” A short documentary about the ramp at drug use and other issues facing the city made a few years ago.
People of all colors will be leaving. Businesses will leave. Developers will not commit to any new construction.
Looks like Seattle city council wants to Detroit their city.

I’m of the opinion that Seattle policemen should never risk their lives for that scum.. Let them rob and steal.. Let them shoot and loot.. Let them eat each other.. Every one of those rats that bites the dust our country is just that much better off... :(
