A 77-year-old military veteran was attacked in California for wearing a MAGA hat supporting President Trump and a Back the Blue mask with a blue line in support of police, according to a report.

The only mistake you made was not having me and some of my friends walking along with you. We would have peacefully explained to those who attacked you the wrongfulness of their actions.

At this point I’ve seen about 6 protests in Brooklyn and they are a swarm. It took seconds for them to surround me one time and asked me why I wasn’t marching. I just said it was not my concern.
almost all of the individual attacks have been blindsided and I don’t know any gun that can pull itself out of your coat and turn itself around and shoot someone.
I’m not a coward but I’m not risking my life by wearing a hat and a pin.
Should it be that way? No. It also shouldn’t be that you can’t walk after dark in a million different neighborhoods in the United States but it just is what it is.
my mom needs me and I want to vote and take my mom and my aunt’s to vote and I can’t do that in the hospital or 6 ft underground.
I do feel bad for this guy. He hadn’t realized what animals our schools and media and society have produced the past few generations.

This is why so many people are afraid to put Trump Pence signs on their front lawns. By doing so (like wearing the MAGA hat), they are putting a target on their homes, their lives, and the lives of their families. It’s a shame. And it’s a shame that the veteran who wore the MAGA hat was assaulted the way he was, considering that he put so many years in defending not only his right to free speech, but defending the rights of free speech for his assailants as well. And of course, they are cowards. They are busy beating up the elderly or little kids, toppling statues, and digging up graves as if they are winning a victory of some sort. They need to try that with someone their own age, with their own strength, and of their own size, and let’s see how pushy and cocky they get then.

I lived through that stuff in the 60s and can't handle it as well at age 74 today.
I’m sorry to say I told yo so but I foretold all this years ago. Like my tagline.
People said then “Frank, I almost always agree with you but this time you’re wrong. Nothing happens to my pickup or to me with Trump or MAGA on them.”
In Southeast Michigan here a Trump supporter would finish pressing the air bubble out of the end of his bumper sticker and within 30 minutes his new pickup would be a smoldering heap of slag after being burned. In 2016 I saw probably 4 or 5 Trump stickers. In 2020 ? Zero. None.
As the area votes 85% Dem always, this means 15% are “shy” time. Let’s hope more than that who hate the looting.
I have a “Veteran for Trump” cap and I occasionally wear it outside but not when I go to a restaurant, mall etc. here in Vegas. Maybe I’ll start to.

They attack in a swarm, a bunch of them. Be aware of surroundings and carry enough ammo in high capacity of mags. Don’t run out till the threat is completely neutralized.
Sad that there are areas that you risk injury or property damage by doing so.
Carry a big old can of Bear Spray.
Aim for the heads.
It’s weird that nothing like this ever happens to me when I wear my MAGA hat. Probably because I am not a women, little kid, or an aged veteran.

But, if you had been waking with “us”, someone would have remembered each face and been able to have picked them out of a line up. If only we could have help you defend yourself.

Around my neck of the woods,SW and NE Pittsburgh, PA, Trump signs, hats, shirts, bumper stickers are widely displayed, along with the US flag.
But not in the city where the mob would burn your house down.
