The problem here is that the left runs the media. By that I don’t mean it owns the media. I mean people who work in the media are almost 100% left-wing. Asking them to report the truth about left-wing lawlessness is like asking a priest or pastor to deny the Holy Trinity, but harder. Trump’s involvement with this guy would be spun as Trump’s encouragement of the Brown Shirt wing of the GOP.

Don’t get me wrong. I’d be OK if Trump exiled the entire Democratic Party to Antarctica. However if a majority of the population can be made to signal approval for BLM, it’s clear that the media’s hold on public opinion is intact. Since Trump is running for re-election instead of sending the Democrats on involuntary extended vacation in the far south, it would be unwise for Trump to get involved in this situation.
