Chinese DRIVER.. Sounds so harmless, doesn't it..

I have read the Chinese spy was her OFFICE MANAGER, not merely her driver. Perhaps the media had to LIE and make the spy sound as innocuous as possible.

Blum tells the San Francisco Chronicle that he’s done nothing wrong and that he’s used his clout to get friends and family into the elite public system for years.

LOL, Admission to Billionaires Row in San Francisco is not that difficult.

So, they consider corruption ‘common practice’?

That’s pretty damning; and not ‘faint’.

And some fools broke the law by bribing University officials to get their kids admitted instead of by getting cozy with a regent!

What’s the difference between a ‘University Official’, and a University athletic coach?

Blum’s admission seems to indicate a systemic problem.

So, they consider corruption ‘common practice’?

They do. They don't consider it corruption. It's remarkable, but it's what makes a lefty a lefty.

“Blum tells the San Francisco Chronicle that he’s done nothing wrong and that he’s used his clout to get friends and family into the elite public system for years.”

No wonder he married DiFi. The arrogance oozes out of both of their pores.

‘By any means necessary’; and by the notion - (often, in its sense, attributed incorrectly to Machiavelli) - ‘the end justifies the means’.

They are the same thing, of course. If something is already corrupted, then how can one fairly be charged with corrupting it?

Well of course. What’s the point of being elite, otherwise.

We have such things as ‘laws’, ‘regulations’, and institutional ‘rules’. The point of having them - and of following them - is that they support civil life, fair conduct of business, and general civilization.

Feinstein’s husband is an idiot - an idiot to do it in the first place, and then again to cavalierly dismiss it in this way - (IF he actually said this. I don’t fully believe anything I read in the news, anymore - or even everything posted here. Most news outlets have also proven themselves compromised in one way or another, and weighing their pronouncements requires a lot of research, sifting and filtering.)

If it’s true, perhaps Blum is as senile as Biden appears to be. (I figure that will ultimately be a useful excuse for the latter.)

The blow to the UCLA admissions policy arises from the audit and not just Blum’s arrogant admissions. And the nature of the blow is that UCLA’s putative admissions standards now stand revealed as arbitrary and a sham when regents and others with influence get involved.
