If they have chips the box needs to be labeled not safe for MRI use. One would assume any mask or gown would be safe for use in an MRI suite, but when coming from China you can’t assume anything.
Good point! A bit of chippery could probably muck something up.
It’s probably not magnetic, but going through an MRI would certainly destroy any circuitry.
So it’s safe inside an MRI but would no longer work afterwards.
MRI’s would be a great way to neutralize chips like this.
Those masks are typically labeled “not for medical use” so that kind of covers that.
