FBI Director Christopher Wray was the target of White House criticism for the second time in a week Friday as Chief of Staff Mark Meadows chided him over remarks made a day earlier to Congress about voter fraud.
Meadows suggested in an interview with CBS that Wray was ill-informed when he told the Senate that there has not been any significant coordinated national voter fraud.
Wray, who last week drew criticism from President Donald Trump for his description of Russian election interference and the threat posed by the anti-fascist movement known as antifa, said in Senate testimony that the U.S. has only experienced occasional voter fraud and on a local level.
It was the latest sign of tension between the president and senior officials over election security, as Trump and his associates seek to minimize intelligence community reports that Russia is again seeking to influence voters on his behalf as it did in 2016. …

I endorse the idea of making Sidney Powell the head of the FBI.

He seems like quite a thorn in the President’s side but my memory sucks and I forget if he’s done anything really bad, just bad or he just is deep state and doesn’t want Trump.
I know a few FBI agents talked the day of the election about how they were so upset. I forget their names.

Trey Gowdy is Deep State, I’d prefer some one who isn’t.
Trey Goudy is one of Trump’s stronger supporters.
But at this point, I would be happy with ANY pick - Grenell would be a great choice.

Gowdy told the President if he was innocent he should act like it, not what a strong supporter would say.
He needs to be fired. Either he is an idiot or he is doing this to undermine Trump. Probably the latter.
I expect Wray to be fired, but it probably wont happen until after the election.
If he hasn’t been fired yet, it’s not going to happen. There’s nothing magical about after the election.
Maybe, but remember as a member of the House Gowdy had no authority to charge anyone with anything all he could do was refer to the Justice Department. Which he did. If there is a deep state plant in the Trump administration it is AG Bill Barr and Director Wray. Neither seems to have the slightest interest in prosecuting high level connected Democrats in DC for their rule in spy gate or framing Gen Flynn.
Yes there is. Trump gets 4 more years. Firing Wray now would ignite a firestorm of criticism.
