Lagoa is untested and may turn out to be another Souter.
I’m thinking that she has seen enough of communism to be a solid vote for the constitution on each case that would come up in front of the SCOTUS.
Everything points to that not being the case. A lot of people like to harp on her father in law but how many people don’t agree on issues with their in laws? A lot. Instead look to her parents to see who she truly is- they came to the US after her father refused to swear allegiance to the communist party.
And her husband has represented the Susan B Anthony list and has played a central role in Miami’s Fed Soc.
