But I’d take any of the top female names who aren’t Barrett, Lagoa or Grant at this point. (E.g, Joan Larsen)
Among the usual names, I like Amul Thapar. I also really like Neomi Rao, though she didn’t make Trump’s latest list of potential nominations.
Liberal heads would have exploded, given she is still uder 40, but Allison Jones Rushing, a former clerk to Clarence Thomas, would probably have been the best pick right now.
Allison Jones Rushing, Britt Grant, and Amy Coney Barrett are my three choices.
Rushing is 38 and there is almost certainly going to be at least one opening in the second term.
