A Unitarian Church on Fourth Street offered sanctuary to protesters who stayed there when the curfew in Louisville went into effect.
Peggy Muller, president of the board of trustees for the First Unitarian Church, said part of their mission is to believe in social justice and equality. She said the church offered sanctuary to the protesters to avoid any direct confrontation with Louisville Metro officers.

Two nights in a row I've watched live feeds of Louisville protests, they march around the city till about a half hour before curfew then march their way into the church grounds where they stand and hurl insults at LMPD while claiming 'sanctuary' Meanwhile after all of the streamers that call themselves media have turned off their cameras for the night, that's when we start hearing about broken windows and looting. Absolutely infuriating.

Friday night protests in Louisville continue past 9 p.m. curfew From the article: It was being told to WAVE 3 News reporters at First Unitarian that golf balls were being thrown at protesters. It was not immediately clear who was throwing the balls or if anyone was hurt, but people there told reporters it looked like they may have been coming from the 800 Tower City Club Apartments.
That has not been confirmed by police.
Considering Topgolf (a golf driving range with a bar and dining venues) has been trying to open a location in Louisville for a while now (been having to deal with some NIMBY types but I think the last lawsuit has been closed and they can proceed) the use of golf balls in this manner gave me a serious case of the giggles.

Unitarian is not a church. A church of satan maybe but certainly not Christian.

Why didn’t the article mention the sanctuary seekers kicked the white people out after being given a safe refuge?

Curfews are like a double dare. When they arent enforced, they just exasperated the situation.
Better to just enforce the LAW, with deadly force if necessary.

Exactly. Socialists make up a religion, build a building and call it a church. They then promote their socialist agenda in that building whilst getting their tax benefits.

The Unitarian Church. They believe in everything and nothing. They believe in God, gods, or not. It IS the ‘church’ for those who don’t know, don’t care to know, and care even less. It should be the ‘official’ church of the Demoncraptic Party.

Unitarian is a church with no god. So why is it considered to be a church?
