To be clear, I don't see Floyd through rose-colored glasses. He wasn't leading a great life and he made awful choices. The left started the same sanctification process with the late Joseph Rosenbaum, who Kyle Rittenhouse shot in self-defense. Then the conservative press reported that Rosenbaum was a registered sex offender and lots of other bad things in his history, and the left walked away.

There is almost always this marketing effort to elevate victims and paint the bad guys as really bad in charged situations. And people get carried away - remember how some outfits lightened the skin tone of George Zimmerman in photos? I'm sorry, but both Floyd and Rosenbaum are guys I'd ever want to have over to my home for a cookout.

I believe it is possible to simultaneously hold that Floyd wasn't a cool hombre but his death was due to negligence. And I totally get your point about Minneapolis corruption and, indeed, you're there so I yield to your first-hand knowledge.

At the same time, I know what I saw, and I've read lots from LEOs etc who also note that the knee on neck move isn't advisable (even if it is permissible), let alone for 8+ mins.

He didn’t die due to neck damage or asphyxiation.

He certainly wasn’t murdered.

A thorough investigation could have determined all that. But instead they needed someone for their summer of BurnLootMurder so they immediately fired the four cops and charged them with murder.

Remember the muslim POS Keith Ellison is the AG behind all this. His son, another POS muslim, is on the Minneapolistan City Council and is an open supporter of Antifa and getting rid of the cops.

I am right here watching these people destroy a once great city. They are using Saint Floyd to do it.

What’s your sense re the voter temperature in NJ? Obviously a lost cause for Trump, but are Trump supporters going for Biden or the other way around?

I really wouldn’t know, but things are rough in NJ under a Dem governor. I doubt Trump supporters are switching to Biden, but I’m sure many Trump supporters have moved out of the state over the last four years.

The kids are stupid in this day and age to be broadcasting that stuff; many young people do the same.

I suspect NJ has just lost some Trump voters over the past four years as the American exodus continues.

No, I grew up right by the east end of 280.

I see businesses like that along Route 17 in NY; it was the main artery up there until the NY Thruway was built - and some businesses withered on the vine.

You’re optimistic the properties will sell; for your sake I hope it does. We had a nearby property in Nutley NJ used by Hoffman LaRoche that was idle for years and is now some kind of medical school; I don’t think they’ll get anywhere near the same tax revenues out of it.

Businesses understand that moving to NJ now just means buying a share in a huge IOU...
