No problem; Trump won the county handily, and I don’t suspect most of the lasses are liberal there. It is a rural county that is 86% white.
My wife grew up there and I lived there for 9 years. We went back a few years ago and visited an old friend of hers. She lives on a large rural lot with chickens, rabbits, variety of other birds iirc. They use the eggs from the chickens but it is mainly for the grandkid’s entertainment - and the neighbor kids.
I had never met her husband and we were talking. We live in a liberal big city now. He was talking about how a raccoon had got in and killed most of his animals just recently.
“Yeah - so I trapped it and drove it all the way on the other side of the river.”
“Huh? Are you nuts!? I would have killed it right then and there!”
He laughed. “Well, actually I did. But seeing as we just met and you being from liberal land - I didn’t want to upset you!”
We were there for Independence Day and my kids loved the small town parades with all of the patriotism. Too bad all the folks in the cities ruin it for the country folks when it comes to state elections.
Hunterdon is basically conservative but we elected Tom Malinoski to the House last time. We have a creepimg greenish influx from the other side of the state and NYC,though.
I thought the picture was typical of teenage pranksters. The Principal’s response was overwrought.
