Nope. The Dems will not die on this hill. The battle has already been fought and they lost. The Dems looked like idiots during the Cavanaugh hearings.
Too close to the election to take the chance.
They are in a lose lose situation. If they don’t fight hard their base will feel betrayed and may not turn out to vote.
But if they fight too hard they will alienate women and Catholics. The dumbocrats are toast. They don’t know what to do.
