What she means, I believe, is that by driving down wages and throwing Americans out of work, immigration makes family formation more difficult financially

also have to do with financial viability. Young men who are pushed out of the workforce or have their wages cut to the bone by immigration, can’t afford to marry and start families
She doesn’t have it backwards. Young men who are robbed of jobs or living wage by low-pay immigration , have a harder time marrying and starting families.
BTW...my wife loved that show when she was little. : )
