I predict this headline will run in the MSM concerning the 2005 tax return:

“Trump paid only $2,292,945 in 2005 on total income of $38,435,451, a measly 5.9%”.

Now the facts from the tax return:

Total taxable income-$38,435,451, (includes $31,263,179 alternative minimum tax.)
Total paid during tax year 2005-$36,142,506(income tax withheld, quarterly payments, extension filing payment etc).

Payment made at time of filing tax return-$2,292,945

I may have got some of the numbers wrong/confused, but that is a lot of money to pay in Alt. Min. Tax.

Please look at the link I posted above in No. 17 —this 2005 tax return looks to be recycled from Rachel Maddow’s big reveal in 2017 -—and that turned out to be a dud. I guess the lame stream media thinks that we have short term memory loss like Joltin’ Joe.....
