When people see violent threats, day after day; when government officials say they will defund the police; when people see destruction and death on a regular basis; It does much to clarify their thinking.

I was concerned about getting ammo. But then I found a source that supplied me with just under 6,500 rounds for all my guns. And 20,000 more if I ever need them.

I’m in the sticks and this is mostly for “prepper” type needs, which is highly unlikely - still. Honestly, the main function of this stuff is to use it to become proficient in the use of my guns, which I currently really am not. I was always too cheap to practice (cartridges are expensive). No more.

The turmoil in Seattle is not good for the city’s tourism trade, according to a separate KOMO story.

I find that hard to believe. Who wouldn't want to bring the family to a city with filthy streets, wall-to-wall homeless, and now the potential to physically harmed or shot to death by rioters. It's like a Pirates of the Caribbean ride, but without any safety devices.

Protests are not violent and destructive.
Riots are violent and destructive.

Just because “protests” are not shooting, doesn’t make them peaceful. Wanton destruction, intimidation, threatening behavior, assaults’, failing to let pass...if these things put fear or fear for their lives in people then it is no longer protesting for redress of grievances.

That 23.4 percent that would rely on the police are certainly a special kind of stupid, aren’t they? I mean, have they NOT seen the “defunders” in their local governments lately?

The “would” stage is getting very long in the tooth, if not long gone.

Many people won’t act until the see how the herd is moving and that is usually too late.

Sounds like the Seattle Dems realize it is THEIR OWN PEOPLE who are the problem. They (hopefully) are about to release the Kraken on the ‘peaceful protestors’.

This is good for America. Armed free Americans are essential to protect freedom for the next generation. Even armed socialists are better for America than disarmed socialists counting on the thug class to do their fighting for them. Armed Americans are far more likely to recognize that they don’t need government to defend them - and by extension that they don’t need government to parent them in other ways either.

“... it does much to clarify their thinking...”

Will it clarify their voting?

The final poll numbers had 51.4% of the respondents stating they would arm themselves.

That’s because the other 48.6% of the citizens are already armed, buying lots of ammo, and too busy thumbing rounds into magazines.

so... they are smart enough to see the danger liberals created, but too stupid to vote for Republicans to stop it? They get what they deserve.

I am very surprised that 2/3s of them said they “would” arm themselves!

You mean you haven’t already armed yourselves? What the heck are you waiting for, the barbarians at the gate?

Good luck getting ammo though. Glad I bought some before the crap started. Wish I’d bought more.

I lived there for many years.

Washington state is beautiful.

The city of Seattle was amazing (before the Marxist city planners tore down all the cool old, historic buildings to build new ‘hip’ concrete and steel).

When I had the chance, I fled the city of Seassholes as fast as I could. I saw the writing on the wall, and it was the Seassholes (the leftists in the city) that ruined that city.
