Yes, knock on your neighbor’s door, bring along a plate of cookies or if you know them well enough a bottle of wine or a six pack of beer, and ask to have a dialog about their yard sign.
Sit down with an open mind, without all of the preconceived notions about Trump that you have, and honestly ask them why they support Trump, and what they think of needless police violence and BLM.
You may be very surprised at their answers, and come away if not a Trump supporter, at least a bit better informed as to what you were led to believe about Trump, and what the actual facts are.
And remember, we are all Americans, and we are allowed to hold different political views, which should not interfere with our ability to remain neighbors and friends.
The time for that has passed.
I kind of gather this individual does not want this. They have their preconceived notions, otherwise they wouldn't have gone to the trouble of writing this pointless article (other than to point up that the left wants things their way or no way).
