They locked down China, while allowing Chinese to fly all over the world.

Sweden refused to lock down and the country is fine.

Ditto South Dakota and they are fine.

Time to end the lockdowns now.

It was all planned from the beginning by the communist China to hurt our economies. The Democrats were enthusiastic because they wanted to hurt the Trump booming economy.

The only problem with this theory is, the weaker world economy has hurt Chinese exports and now their huge real estate bubble is about to collapse. They weakened the world but haven’t really gained anything - so now they are rattling sabers to keep disgruntled nationalists on board.

I think the initial release of the virus was an accident and the CCP freaked out and overreacted on their response, not certain how deadly the strain was that had escaped. As they realized it was controllable, they re-opened rather quickly - but didn’t bother sharing details about the virus’s true lethality with the world (Trump has complained about this very point) and let the West engage in a vast collective freakout.

They may have hoped to profit from the overreaction, but the abysmal relationship they now have with the rest of the world probably wasn’t what they had in mind. They desperately need Trump out of the way and the Deep State operatives re-empowered, or they are facing a decades-long setback.
