I think Trump won on substance, although I think he would have been better served by shutting up for two minutes at a time and rope-a-doping Biden into exhaustion.

yes my 24 yr old daughter was critical of Trump’s interrupting & demeanor (although laughing out loud at some of his attacks) mostly because she hopes more millenials will see the light.
But she gets it on the economy and will vote for Trump.
Interestingly! my internet went out with Comcast right before the debate and working again when it was over. We used a hot spot from my phone got my husbands computer and reflected the event with an HDMI cord onto a large TV screen.
IF this translates to votes for Trump......
Trump needs to insist on a conservative moderator. Equal time. Rush or Levin. I don’t know why Republicans always cave on this issue.

If Trump had fed Biden more rope, Wallace would’ve simply pulled Biden back from the ledge. He actually did a couple of times.
With a decent moderator Biden would’ve ended up talking about unicorns and pixies unironically.
I don’t know either of the next two moderators, but since they’re members of the media, I don’t have any faith that they will be fair and balanced. I’ve watched way too many debates over the years, and have seen how every moderator has stacked the deck against the Republican candidate. Thank God President Trump can handle two debaters at the same time. I loved how he kept talking over Biden and Wallace. I don’t see him changing his approach in the next two debates.
I can’t name anyone else on Fox News that the Biden campaign would have agreed to. Who is there besides Wallace?
It doesn’t have to be someone from Fox News. And why does Trump have to be the one to capitulate? Wallace has a known unbiased, he has no business moderating anything.
How about Tucker for the next debate, that would be fair.
