Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, who spoke at the Republican National Convention, declined to bring murder charges against the three white officers involved in the tragic shooting of Louisville's Breonna Taylor, a black woman.
Contrary to the public assertion made by a Taylor family lawyer, Cameron, who is black, said the Louisville police did not go to the wrong address when executing a search warrant. Nor was Taylor shot and killed in her bed, as also publicly asserted by the family lawyer. Ben Crump, a spokesman and attorney for the Taylor family, falsely claimed the police went to the wrong address. And in a statement full of inaccuracies, Crump, who negotiated a $12 million settlement with Louisville, said, "Taylor and her boyfriend were asleep in their apartment when Louisville Police burst into the home without warning using a battering ram, in search of a suspect who was already in their custody."
Cameron carefully, methodically and with sensitivity to the Taylor family reviewed the evidence and explained why the law and facts did not warrant murder charges, however massive the intensity of the public's passion for charges. Cameron said: "Evidence shows that officers both knocked and announced their presence at the apartment. The officers' statements about their announcement are corroborated by an independent witness who was near, in a proximity to Apartment 4. … When officers were unable to get anyone to answer or open the door to apartment four, the decision was made to breach the door." A man inside the apartment fired, striking an officer, and the officers returned fire, killing Taylor.

Now over the last seven or eight years since Black Lives Matter started in St. Louis with the Ferguson incident and gentle giant let’s look at the different cases that they brought up and you will see that every single case you basically have a thug who either attacked police or threaten to attack police and they all had long criminal records to boot

Plain and simple George Floyd was a mini time loser and swallowed a bunch of fat Noll right before the cops got him and that’s why he couldn’t breathe and that’s why he died
Breonna Taylor was heavily involved with serious opioid drug dens there was long-term surveillance for both her ex-boyfriend and her current boyfriend knew they had the word for
just last year they found a dead body in the truck outside of her house and then her boyfriend shot at the police through the door after they announced themselves

No the other case is armored Arbery he clearly was on armed and there is some meat there but it wasn’t the cops that shot him and then there’s the Freddie gray case where they put them in the back of the police van and the guy ended up just that one is also a bit suspect but they’re not trying to make a big deal out of either of those cases
The bottom line is is the police are an essential part of our society are and are incredible people that do the most difficult job in society
There are bad and evil people in every profession including law-enforcement and in particular those type of people need to be weeded out quickly because of the power involved with the badge

Whether or not to return a true bill indictment is a decision made by the members of the grand jury, not the prosecuting attorney. The prosecuting attorney only presents the case in favor of an indictment. He or she must convince the grand jury that there is probable cause that a crime has been committed.
It’s the drugs.
If policing is systematically racist, then why do these incidents have as core indicators drug use and resisting arrest rather than race or, even, criminality?
