Supreme court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this year but has since recovered, according to officials familiar with her diagnosis.
Two officials told The Washington Post she tested positive for the coronavirus this summer. The officials requested anonymity because they are not authorized to disclose Barrett's medical history.
Barrett was administered a COVID-19 test following the news that President Trump and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for the virus early Friday morning. Barrett's test results came back negative.
“She is following CDC guidance and best practices, including social distancing, wearing face coverings, and frequently washes hands,” deputy White House press secretary Judd Deere told the Post.

Covid-19 is not a death sentence.
Doesn’t matter, since they will say that Biden never got it anyways.

But they did it anyway.
They say “recovered” without knowing the intent of any possible illness. Barrett could have been complete systematic, although that would beg the question why get tested then.

A lot of people test positive but never have any symptoms. It doesn’t always make sense to speak of a “recovery”.
Seems to me that swamp got rid of malaria, but is infested with Covid.
I think there have been some reported reinfection cases, but not sure if confirmed. So, she not infectious and has immunity. Why would she need to wear a mask?

She's already had it and therefore can't get it or spread it. Why the Kabuki theater of "best practices"?
This is part of why everyone is so cynical. When you read things like this, see a masked news reporter on camera or masked people across the room from each other or masked people out on a walk not near anyone, it just becomes social conformity and pretending.
Her immunity is short term.
Meanwhile, pres of Notre Dame had tested positive. He was at her nomination ceremony shaking hands and not social distancing.

Does it make sense to speak of testing her again, even though she already had it, and we’re trying to develope a “vaccine”?
Nobody appears to have a clue what they are doing with this. It appears deliberate, to me.

I wonder why I haven’t gotten it...certainly in a high risk group....work in a hospital on a covid floor but don’t go in the covid rooms.....tested negative three weeks ago for antibodies....

Still put the president in a horrible situation. Very selfish of her to keep this from everyone. She’s caused at least 8 people to test positive at her announcement.
They wear masks. Not difficult to figure that out.
