I was actually puzzled when Trump stayed at the White House.
Walter Reed is set up for the president to fulfill his duties right from a suite in the hospital.
It’s part of the necessary measures taken so the president can function from a place he may have to spend time...much like how AF1 is outfitted for him or the various redoubts prepared in case of war.
It does not necessarily mean his condition has worsened dramatically...it is a common-sense precaution.
Yes,..but for me it confirms whatever symptoms he’s showing they want him in a place should they esculate further....I’m good with that.

Also is a way to minimize risk of him spreading it to key underlings. He’s be surrounded by folks better trained in infection control and less critical to his government. And by physically removing him from much of the normal staff gives the guy a chance to get some real rest, in spite of himself. Normally I’d look for Melania to put her foot down, read him the riot act, and tell him to take it easy. Since she is also out of service the kids need to step up.
It does away with that whole “together” thing. There’s no mention of Melania, and there would be if she was going too.
