John Glenn was a hero of mine a long time ago.
A Marine Aviator, Astronaut then a US Senator.
Then he became a defender of Clinton and was rewarded with a ride into space at 80 years old or something close to that for stonewalling the accusations against Clinton.
Made me think that it doesn’t take anyone special to go into space and that he was a total sellout to Clinton.

It really doesn’t. It did when the men were inventing space systems back in the 1960’s, but not anymore.
