“As well, Trump’s chief of staff, Mark Meadows, said the president went through a “very concerning” period Friday and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care.”

This is consistent with issues with COVID. His body will fight it or turn on him. I am optimistic.

And it also is consistent with the idea that you need to start your protocol right away. Waiting just gives the virus time to replicate.

I wouldnt want Trump to sit around and do nothing as many of us are required to do by Drs.

If Meadows did in fact give an update, it probably went something like:

“We were a little concerned yesterday because the doctor recommended his hospitalization in the event his condition worsened and he is the POTUS. He is not on oxygen now but yesterday when he arrived they did give him those little nose plugs while they administered the IV medication, which is common especially for some treatments. The President will probably remain hospitalized for the next 48 hours or so out of an abundance of caution.”
