RUSSIA is planning to equip military helicopters with swarms of terrifying suicide drones which can be sent on pre-programmed missions, raising the prospect of a new era of remotely waged warfare, sources within Vladimir Putin's country have claimed.
The helicopter gunshop Mi-28NM is being fitted with drones which Russia will be able to fire from missile launch tubes, an insider told state news agency Tass. The source said: "Built-in instruments transmit information from the helicopter's weapons control system to the payload, be it controlled detonation missiles, guided missiles, mini-drones or suicide drone

Look, while I don’t have much use for Putin I do get where he is coming from. Instead of using the fall of the Soviet Union to deescalate things with Russia we pushed boundaries to the Russian front porch to quote Buchanan. That was our globalists Bush and Obama who did that. With the West run by globalists, with overwhelming conventional military capabilities and his barely 2nd world economy, he is awfully nervous. All of us would be.

A guided suicide missile - almost like they have GPS (GLONASS) built in and can hit the target they were supposed to hit.

Even neutron bombs are fairly blunt weapons and will do damage and leave lingering radiation. A massive swarm of drones won’t do as well with people sheltered though for complete depopulation unless they can IR/Radar know where people are and just blow up with a big payload. However, that’ll also do a lot of physical damage.
I remember Tom Clancy, who is one of my favs, say that it’ll be different when you have a target on your back and it’s not alive, but it has to kill you as the only objective.
This was during the rise of GPS guided, and I really think that’s in the end what turned the tide in the middle east, even though unfortunately not fully. They knew they had eyes in the skies from space to local and all their friends were being blown up with no notice. You can’t get much more demoralizing.
