1) Israel and Lebanon have formulated a framework agreement to launch direct-negotiations on "maritime and land boundary demarcation between the two countries."
2) The European Union concluded a two-day summit, today -- the first day of which focused primarily on EU relations with Turkey and tensions surrounding the Eastern Mediterranean.
3) The Israeli Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem expressed regret over Armenia's decision to recall its ambassador for consultations.

I don’t know about this particular case but, in the past, Israel has been Anti-Armenian and Pro-Azerbaijan.
It’s puzzling as to why Israel supports the muslim Azeris over Armenians, even going so far as to refusing to acknowledge the Turk Genocide of the Armenians. One would think that Israel would sympathize with the Armenians on that matter.
Armenia was the first official Christian country.
Thanks for mentioning that. In a previous post to someone else, I mentioned that Israel and Azerbaijan were allies, but I forgot to mention Israeli arms sales to Azerbaijan.
I can see why Armenia can’t really trust Israel.
