DA: Suspended Wauwatosa Officer Joseph Mensah will not face charges in shooting death of Alvin Cole

Eight months after Wauwatosa Police Officer Joseph Mensah fatally shot Alvin Cole outside Mayfair Mall, the Milwaukee County district attorney announced no criminal charges will be filed against him.

A little extra background. The cop is black but a native of Ghana. Wauwatosa is mostly white, but is right next to big ghetto in north Milwaukee. The kid that was killed had a 9mm with 30 round extended clip. He shot while running away with his right hand over his left arm and hit himself. The cop then put 5 in him and killed him. This is the 3rd black guy this cop has killed in 5 years and he's been cleared every time.

And yes Milwaukee will burn tonight. You can see on Twitter that they are already fighting with police.

I guess no other Wauwatosa cop has even shot one person. I think this guy just had a run of bad luck. Wauwatosa is backed up right next to the ghetto and they get their share of serious crime.

This most recent shooting is without question justified. Lots of witnesses, kid had gun, you name it. The other 2 I looked up and he was alone both times and there was no camera footage. The second shooting kid was sitting in a parked car in a city park after hours. There is some question as to was he asleep. Anyway there was a loaded gun laying on the passenger seat. Cop tells him if you move towards that gun I will shoot. Kid moved towards the gun.

Otherwise they’d be doing it exclusively M-F for all the normal mountains of weekend black on black shootings and murders.
