A spokesperson for the EU responded today (Thursday) to the report according to which the European Union links aid to PA to financial ties with Israel. According to the report, European Union leaders told the Palestinian Authority that they will refuse to provide financial aid as long as it refuses to accept tax revenues collected by Israel.
"The EU and its Member States are and continue to be the largest international financial supporter of Palestinians. The EU is a firm supporter of the Palestinian Authority", the spokesperson said to Arutz Sheva.
"The EU and many partners in the international community have encouraged the Palestinians to again accept the transfers of their own tax revenues as it is their money", the spokesperson added, "There has not been a suggestion of cutting or suspending funds ..."

["The EU is a firm supporter of the Palestinian Authority"]
I have never doubted that the E.U. is what they claim to be. Of course they support the P.A. It's a slap towards the state of Israel. I think they'll look around, and they'll have found, the man for E.U. you see..... (had to bend "The Producers" a tiny bit)
Maybe that man can confirm a "peace deal" for 7 years. The world can say it brings "peace and safety" or "peace and security".

Why would the EU support the PA at all?
There is basically zero interest overlap between Europeans and Palestinians, other than hating on Jews. And since it’s that obvious, engaging in open support is rather unseemly.

They’re tired of being raped by Syrians, and want to be raped by Palestinians instead. Have fun.

Not too surprising... During World War Two most of them were strong supporters of the holocaust. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Europe has a long history of killing/persecuting Jews so now, after WWII, they can say they are not Anti-Semites, just Anti-Zionist.
This way it keeps PLO/HAMAS/JIHAD/etc., ad infinitum Arab terror groups off their backs via appeasement, especially now with Europe slowly being conquered by Islam.

Why would the EU support the PA at all?
For the same reason they propped-up Mugabe and support the extermination of whites in southern Africa?

Why would the EU support the PA at all? - to keep the Arab oil flowing for now
Note that the US also, until Trump, provided aid to the "Palestinian Authorities"
The EU and the US need to stay out of this - the Arabs don't care about the "Palestinians" any more, so the US and the EU can drop the pretense of caring for that non-state. They both have stopped funding it

It further makes my point. If they want to refuse money from Israel, what’s it the EU’s business? I’m extatic that they don’t want Israeli tax money. So if they don’t want to take it, and Israel doesn’t want to give it, fine and dandy just like candy dipped in brandy, and the EU should STFU.
