Mass kill every animal because you know distracted drivers.
I stated this yesterday on the previous thread regarding this sign.
It MAY be that the sign is not permitted or it exceeds the size of a sign you can have on YOUR property.
All towns have zoning laws prohibiting the size of signs, the height of advertisements, etc.
Billboards are permitted by the township that they are located. They can not exceed a certain size. I guarantee that this sign was not permitted by the CA township. Therefore, it can be removed by the city and they will charge the landowner for the cost of removing the sign.
I was thinking the same with blm painted on the streets by same beaurocrats
The Hollywood sign distracts me when Im on the 101.
This isn’t based on a zoning law as far as I can tell. If you violate a zoning law then you first would be notified that you have to remove it anyway. This action is based on a totally subjective judgement, with no chance to contest it.
Is that for real?
If it is, that is a hoot.
I live here and drove for an hour just to see it!! BASTARDS it was on PRIVATE property but of course there is no such thing in CA.
Sorry about that didn’t read the article.
But the property owner should have a case against the bureaucrats of deprivation of 1st Amendment right under color of law.
An imaginative attorney could have fun with this one.
Starting with trespassing.
The 405 is a parking lot no way this could be a distraction to anyone just sitting on the 405!, People here were TRIGGERED probably crying hysterically in their cars because they ahad to sit there and look at it!!
If people read that slow then they should get off the road.
It is my understanding that the land is owned by the Getty Center.
Enough said.
