I guess it’s kind of a side point, but this Seligman guy was evidently administering electrical shocks to dogs just so he could write a research paper. I find that very disturbing.
That was in the 60’s when they were still repeating/expanding on Pavlovian type behavioral studies.
Seligman is not a young whippersnapper.
