“How about changing the debate format to each candidate asking questions of the other with a time limit for the answer and for rebuttal?”

The democrats would never go for that. It’s too fair.

End the debates. It’s all political theater now.

Everyone who was saying Biden won’t do any more debates was correct. Here the commission is inserting themselves, w/o input from the campaigns, to forestall the third debate back and forth. So postponing and having the final debate as is fake townhall is a non-starter.

Town halls are NOT debates.

“The voters should have a chance to ask questions of both candidates, directly.”

And just who is going to chose those “independent” voters who ask the questions?
If the debate commission is going to chose the audience and stack them full of Biden supporters disguised as “independents” the answer is NO!

Why not have the candidates live in Miami, but have the questioners virtual? Each campaign gets to submit ten questioners from around the country who will ask questions of the competing candidate. At least we would know that Biden would have to answer questions he didn’t have before hand from people who don’t support him.

Nobody passionately supports Biden. When he appears by himself he draws crickets.

The media national polls do not matter, only the swing states.

One thing Trump could learn from Pence last night...if your opponent is an idiot, sometimes it helps you to let him or her talk too much

Methinks (c) can be taken off the table since our Structurally Leftist™ media and medical community has been hammering away at this 24/7 before Pelosi's floating the 25th amendment today ...

THIS!

The most valid criticism I heard of Trump's performance was that if he could just have held his tongue for another 30-60 seconds on each question, Biden would have stepped in the dog poo.

The Debate Commission obviously works for Team Bidet.

Trump gets his exposure through his massive rallies. He should rest up and recover to get back out again.

Bidet gets his exposure if he can glom onto Trump.

Trump “debated” a doped-up sock-puppet with a wire up his butt, the first time.

Now, Team Bidet wants him to “debate” a computer-controlled VCR.

Trump doesn’t need this. Dopey-Joe does. The “Press” needs it, too. Not too many people are interested in why a debate doesn’t happen. They can pee and moan about it, but nobody will care.

A town hall, let me guess, full of “Undecided voters” who all so happen to be voting for Biden..apparently they have agreed to an actual debate on October 22nd

Biden thinks he’ll do better getting questions in a town hall format than from a friendly moderator?

I mean, I know they’ll stack the audience, but who’ll keep him on message and stop his rambling?
