I would think the more direct message is regarding Turkey's interference in Libya, where they are effectively fighting a proxy war with Egypt, and to a point Russia. A little, "You mess around in our backyard, we'll come to yours". Azerbaijan has got to be pretty far down in Egypt's priorities right now. Or maybe it's a favor to Russia in return for support in Libya.
Both are valid points.
I’m no fan of Putin. There are some here who are.
But it is important that sane people come forward and end the misery, butchery and hate filled exploits of Erdoo and the Islamist Terrorists.
Egypt and Russia have an interest in seeing the Islamist Terrorist shut down.
